Dr.. Mike Cerefin, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Mike opened Cerefin Family Chiropractic in 1995 after graduating from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, GA. A former high school basketball and baseball standout, Dr. Mike was drafted by the Houston Astros as a pitcher out of high school and enjoyed a memorable professional baseball career. Dr. Mike's athletic career and interest in health and fitness lead him to the health care field. He became a licensed massage therapist through the University of Florida School of Massage in 1988. In 1990 Dr. Mike entered chiropractic school and obtained his license in 1994. Dr. Mike and his wife, Cindy, opened Cerefin Family Chiropractic in July 1995. Dr. Mike's interests include adventure racing, boating, camping, and self-improvement techniques.

Cindy Cerefin, Clinic Director
Cindy comes from the southside of Indianapolis and attended Perry Meridian H.S.. Cindy is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She then attended Duke University where she earned her MBA. Prior to developing Cerefin Family Chiropractic, Cindy worked as a project manager with major companies including Disney World in Orlando, FL and Coca-Cola. Cindy enjoys relaxing, travel, rollerblading, biking, swimming, and reading.

"I was first introduced to chiropractic care when I met Mike (my first adjustment was in an airport after a long, tiring flight!). Coming from a medically oriented family (four doctors in immediate family), I was somewhat skeptical about the benefits of chiropractic until I experienced them myself. With regular chiropractic care, I first noticed how much easier I fell asleep in the evening. I had also had previous problems with TMJ and experienced daily headaches. Tylenol was my best friend, but I have been aspirin free for the last five years. This really helped when I was pregnant with Kailey and wanted to remain medication free. In addition chiropractic care was a lifesaver when I was pregnant by minimizing back pain, which most of my friends really suffered from. I was adjusted the day I gave birth and think it helped contribute to a short labor. Our daughter, Kailey, who was adjusted the day she was born, is adjusted weekly. This is extremely helpful for all the falls she takes when her puppy's tail wipes her out! Most importantly, chiropractic care has helped her precious body be medication free. She has had NO ear infections and minimal colds, despite several days per week at day care. Even our dog Kona gets adjusted regularly. Hip problems that he experienced several years ago have disappeared. Chiropractic care has enabled our entire family to live a happier and healthier life!"
